Over 120 staff at SHS undertook a virtual cycle challenge on Thursday 8th October to raise funds for their staff nominated charity Macmillan Cancer Support.
There were two teams located in two different offices; one in Airport Road West, Belfast and the other in Manderson House, Gloucester. Each team undertook a virtual cycle to the other location. The two offices are approximately 360 miles apart. With the Gloucester office crossing the finish line 15 minutes ahead of the Belfast office.
This event was the biggest health and wellbeing challenge that the SHS Group has undertaken and it was fantastic to see so many people sign up to take part across both sites, especially those who had not been cycling for a number of years. The support from colleagues who wore green to work and donated to our nominated charity helped to make it an exceptional event.
There was a great atmosphere across both sites throughout the day and we have so far managed to raise nearly £3,000 for our staff nominated charity Macmillan with donations still coming in.
