In a market which has seen some decline in recent years Twinings has significantly out-performed the category delivering over 8% sales growth in the last 12 monthsâ‚. Worth over £100m at retailâ‚ Twinings were inspired to work with us to access our leading category expertise and network of relationships across the convenience sector in order to fully maximise the opportunities across this growing channel.
Twinings growth has been driven by understanding the increasing consumer trend towards healthier and higher quality teas and responding to those changing drinking habits. Twinings understand the consumer need for choice within the category and their desire to access a range of healthier, quality teas through the convenience market where the shopper expects to be able to purchase brands such as Twinings. Therefore, in exclusively partnering with SHS in the convenience channel, Twinings can be confident that the whole range of products which shoppers are looking for will be available on shelf in their local stores. And not only have SHS been tasked with driving sales growth on the tea brands they also have responsibility for leading brands Options and Ovaltine worth a further £23m at retailâ‚.
